Frequently Asked Questions

Campers love to receive post mail and email from their parents while they enjoy a week at Forest Cliff Camp. You can find ways to contact your child at Contact Us. To check out the fun things we are doing at camp RIGHT NOW visit the Forest Cliff Cam Facebook Page and follow us on Twitter.
How many campers are there in a cabin and how many staff?
10 to 12 campers live in one of our spacious cabins, as well as their two counsellors.
What activities do you have?
We offer sailing, canoeing, horseback riding, kayaking, arts & crafts, wilderness, drama, high ropes course and climbing tower, archery, riflery, wacky science and rocketry.
Do campers get to choose their activities?
Yes! Every morning each camper participates in the same craft, they can gain experience, have fun and learn new skills. Campers and parents select the activities that appeal to them on their Camper Application. Campers are placed in their top ranking choice at the time they register.
During the afternoon "Cabin Craft" time, cabin groups travel together and get a chance to try all the great activities Forest Cliff has to offer.
How do you supervise children at night?
After the campers in a cabin are asleep, one of the cabin counselors is free to leave the cabin for an hour. The remaining counsellor stays in the cabin to take care of any camper concerns (for example, if someone wakes up with a tummy ache or a nightmare), and there is also a Head Counsellor on both the Boys and Girls sides supervising until lights out.
Where do your campers come from?
We have campers travel from all over Southwestern Ontario and Michigan to enjoy a week at Forest Cliff Camp. We are located 20 minutes from Sarnia and 50 minutes from London.
