Info for Campers
Arrival Time:
Registration opens at 4:00 p.m. through 5:30 p.m. on
Sunday in Beaver Lodge.
Departure Time:
Friday 5:00 – 6:00 p.m., Barbeque for campers
and families, then departure.
Directions:
Camp is located off Lakeshore Road that connects Sarnia
to Highway 21 at Kettle Point. From the IGA in Forest
(on highway 21), follow Townsend Line West to Lakeshore
Road, turn right, camp is 1 km. on the left.
What to Bring:
Label all clothing, towel (beach and shower), sweatshirt
or sweater, sunscreen, pillow and sleeping bag, labelled
water bottle, toiletries (shampoo, soap, toothbrush,
toothpaste, deodorant, washcloth), walking and running
shoes, underwear and socks, jeans and/or sweat pants,
flashlight, insect repellent, swimsuit, t-shirt for
beach, hat, jacket, dress-up clothes and make-up or
face paint for skits and theme days, quarter to half
inch heeled shoes or boots for horseback riding, beach
shoes, Bible (if you would like to bring one) - Remember,
PACK OLD CLOTHES! All unclaimed Lost and Found items
will be donated
to charities by September 30th, 2004.
What Not to Bring:
Radios, tape players, cell phones, money, comic books,
sports cards, water guns or novelty items, jewelry or
anything of value!
Mail & Email:
Mail and email are distributed daily. Parents may bring
mail to camp on Sunday and leave it in the office labelled
with the camper’s name and cabin number and request
daily delivery. Email sent to campmail@fccamp.org should
include the camper’s name and cabin number on
the subject line.
Many of our campers live
with a LIFE THREATENING ALLERGY to PEANUTS/NUTS. For
this reason we ask that you DO NOT SEND your child to
camp with any SNACKS WITH PEANUTS OR PEANUT/NUT TRACES.
Our camp is a NUT FREE ENVIRONMENT.
